Surface Dyeing

For parts and products produced using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and the following materials PA12, PA11, and TPU we can finish them using dyeing technology. 

We use environmentally friendly dyes and can dye the items in a range of RAL and/or Pantone colors. The dyes are also skin contact and food safe, and the dyed parts can be washed by hand and in the dishwasher.

This is that fastest and most cost-effective process of achieving a variety of colors, as SLS prints are white, when raw, and porous so they absorb the color effectively. Usually, the parts are immersed in a hot water bath to ensure full, consistent surface coverage.
