Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Lead, the Graduate Software Developer will be required to provide full life-cycle project support and implementation for software development projects liaising with, developers and internal stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple technologies and willing to explore unused technologies.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Hands-on coding in a variety of languages particularly Python

  • Develop and test software changes within the team

  • Adhering to source control procedures

  • Develop documentation systems to manage existing and developing solutions

  • Ability to integrate with existing code base

  • Knowledge of Python, Flask Framework & SQL

  • Experience deploying web applications to Google cloud using Docker containers

  • Able to adapt to multiple languages/technologies

  • Experience integrating unit testing and test driven development

  • Solution-orientated with a dynamic and logical approach to fulfilling requirements

  • Pragmatic approach to software development

  • Excellent communications ability and drive

  • Keen to learn and confident in asking questions when needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline within the last 4 years
  • Visa to work in Ireland 
  • Work experience is not required
  • Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets
  • Well organised, detail-focused and driven
