Everlyfe was founded with a very human mission - to help people preserve the presence, personality and memory of someone they love.

Founded by Steve Kehoe, Everlyfe creates personalised 3D printed busts from 2D images. This gives customers a meaningful way to remember a loved one through a physical object they can see, touch and keep close. The idea is powerful, emotional and highly personal - but bringing this beautiful concept to life took time, cooperation and thinking outside the box.

Everlyfe needed a way to transform a customer’s photograph into a high-quality 3D model, manufacture that model on demand and ship the finished piece directly to the customer. The process had to be reliable, scalable and sensitive to the emotional importance of every order.

That is where WAZP came in.

The goal was to create a likeness that captured something of their spirit, creating a tribute that felt personal, respectful and worthy of the memory it represented.

The Challenge: Creating a product that captures the spirit and keeps the memories

A personalised memorial bust is not a standard product. It is not simply a decorative object or a piece of novelty personalisation. For the person ordering it, the product represents someone they love.

That meant the challenge was not only technical, but emotional.

Everlyfe needed to create busts that did more than resemble the person in the image. The goal was to create a likeness that captured something of their spirit, creating a tribute that felt personal, respectful and worthy of the memory it represented. This created a number of important requirements.

The product had to be high quality, the process consistent and the customer experience simple and reassuring. Moreover, behind the scenes the workflow had to manage a complex journey: receiving an order, processing a 2D image, creating a printable 3D model, sending that model into production, manufacturing the bust and shipping it to the customer.

Everlyfe had the vision, the brand and the customer need. What they needed was the technology and production infrastructure to make the idea work commercially.

The Solution: An integrated WAZP workflow from order to production

WAZP worked with Everlyfe to develop an integrated tool within the WAZP platform. This tool supports the entire process from the initial customer order to the final 3D file ready for production.

When an Everlyfe customer places an order and uploads an image, the WAZP platform receives it automatically. From there, it enters a dedicated workflow. This process is designed specifically to turn the 2D image into a 3D model suitable for printing.

Once the model is ready, it is automatically forwarded to production. The bust is then 3D printed on demand and shipped directly to the customer.

This gave Everlyfe a scalable product model without needing to build its own manufacturing operation, manage production manually or hold stock. Each piece is created only when ordered. This allows Everlyfe to offer a highly personalised product while keeping the business flexible and efficient.

For now, Everlyfe’s busts are produced in Ireland, with local manufacturing planned as the company grows. This gives the business a strong foundation today while allowing for future expansion through WAZP’s wider production and fulfilment capabilities.

Respecting the meaning behind every order

One of the most important parts of the Everlyfe and WAZP collaboration was the shared understanding that this product needed to be treated with exceptional care. Every image represents a person, every order has a story behind it and every bust needs to feel like it has been handled with respect.

That mindset shaped the development of the workflow. The technical challenge was not only to automate a process, but to do so in a way that protected the quality and sensitivity of the final product.

The result is a blend of technology, craft and care. Everlyfe manages the customer relationship and emotional experience. WAZP provides the platform, workflow and production infrastructure that allow each order to move from image to model to finished product.

Together, the companies created a process that can support deeply personal products at a commercial scale.

From concept to first sale in four months

At WAZP we treat every business case individually and help bring ideas to life locally in the EU using on-demand 3D printing.

In order from left to right: Steve Kehoe (Everlyfe), Shane Hassett, Mariana Kobal and Rachel Griffin (WAZP)

Within just four months, Everlyfe moved from concept to first sale.

That speed was made possible by combining Everlyfe’s clear vision with WAZP’s experience in product development, 3D printing, digital workflows and on-demand fulfilment.

Rather than spending months or years building a traditional supply chain, investing in tooling or trying to manage production manually, Everlyfe developed and launched a new product model using WAZP’s platform.

This is one of the key advantages of working with WAZP. Brands can move quickly from idea to market while avoiding many of the barriers usually associated with manufacturing physical products. There is no need for mass production, inventory, demand predictions or building a full production operation before testing the market.

Instead, Everlyfe could focus on building a meaningful brand and customer experience, while WAZP enabled the technical and operational pathway behind the scenes.

A model for the next generation of personalised products

WAZP helps businesses create, 3D print and fulfil on demand in Ireland and the EU - sustinable waste-free production model.

Everlyfe is a strong example of what becomes possible when digital product development, 3D printing and on-demand manufacturing come together.

Many brands have ideas for personalised, customised or niche physical products but are held back by the traditional manufacturing model. As a result, promising ideas are stopped before they ever reach customers. They are blocked by tooling costs, minimum order quantities, stock risk, supplier management and fulfilment complexity.

WAZP helps remove those barriers. By using digital workflows and on-demand 3D printing, WAZP allows brands to launch products that are made only when sold. This opens the door to products that would be difficult or impossible to produce through conventional manufacturing.

For Everlyfe, this meant creating a deeply personal memorial product from a single customer image. For other brands, the opportunity could be customised homeware, personalised gifts or replacement parts. It could also mean limited-edition products, location-specific ranges or entirely new digital-to-physical experiences.

The principle is the same: WAZP helps turn ideas into products, and products into scalable businesses.

Conclusion

Everlyfe came to WAZP with a powerful idea: to help people preserve the memory of loved ones through beautifully crafted 3D-printed busts.

WAZP helped turn that idea into a working product system.

Together, the two companies developed an integrated workflow. It automatically receives customer orders, processes uploaded images, creates production-ready 3D models, manufactures each piece on demand and ships directly to the customer.

In four months, Everlyfe moved from concept to first sale.

The result is a business built around meaning, personalisation and care. It is fully supported by a platform designed for speed, flexibility and scalable on-demand production.

For Everlyfe, WAZP made it possible to bring a sensitive and emotionally powerful product to market.

For other brands, the message is clear. If you have a product idea that deserves to exist, WAZP can help you develop it, produce it and deliver it to customers without the limitations of traditional manufacturing.

From concept to customer, WAZP helps brands create products worth holding onto.
