Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis in Tralee, Co Kerry.


As a lead generator, it is your job to set up appointments and find potential clients for the sales team. You are the first step in the prospecting process, and sales teams rely on your persuasive abilities and creative methods of finding potential customers. 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce WAZP’s solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market
  • Create content for all the relevant sales channels
  • Initiate lead/demand generation strategies that include inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how WAZP’s solution will speak to those needs
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and setting sales calls with relevant members within the sales team
  • Educate & Inform Prospects about WAZP’s services
  • Overcome objections proposed by potential clients
  • Work with the Global Head of Sales to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients within CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached
  • Prepare and analyse sales pipeline reports and dashboards
  • Have fun, be curious and learn, learn, learn

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • 1+ years’ experience in a Marketing or Related Role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets
  • Well organised, detail-focused and driven
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
  • Adequate knowledge of primary and secondary data collection methods
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Strategic and creative mindset
  • Open to travel arrangements
